Eleven
Years ago, I was lying in a hospital bed about ready to deliver our first child. Right about now, I remember thinking, I can do this. It was 11 PM when I thought for sure she would finally make her entrance into this world. We had no idea it would be so hard to get her here. The magic finally took place at 4:12 AM on October 22, 2001. We then felt a love we had never known. She was perfect. Our Kaitlyn RaeAnne changed us forever. We are so lucky to be her parents. She amazed me then and has continued to leave me in awe every single day since. Happy Eleventh Birthday to my baby girl. No matter how old you are, you will ALWAYS be my baby.

Now Showing
OUTTA GAS CAR - as it's known by Lauren. Otherwise known as Madagascar.
Another one of my favorites she's been saying is her Swimming Soup. (swimming suit) She certainly has some sass and in moments of frustration you will hear her murmur, oh me gosh! Just last night she growled at her Dad and then it took me a minute to realize what she was saying but, she said ha, ha, Daddy, crap, scared out. I think you can guess what she was saying. Don't judge. ºÜº
This picture cracks me up. Isn't that how you feel, when you're about OUTTA GAS? I have only ran out once (knock on wood) and don't ever plan to again. My Grandma always said it's better to drive on the top half of the tank than the bottom. She was wise in many ways.
Hope everyone is having a good summer break. We certainly are!
And just FYI, I pretty much decided that blogging isn't for me but, every once in a while I have a thought or two I want to jot down. I keep my blog, mostly so that I can follow a few friends and family in an easy way for me. Keep your posts coming I enjoy hearing from you.
